The only problem I have with it it that the weight of the battery pack (four D's) is only secured by two plastic pressure clips underneath which should not be a problem if you do not intend to walk around with it a great deal and leave it on a table for most of it's use. The housing is a great upgrade from the thin plastic used on their prior models and the LED is SUPER-Bright!! I bought this for hurricane preparation because the last time we had a blackout, my wife almost killed me with all the smoke from the candles she was burning. Buy with confidence because Coleman has re instituted my respect with them through this great lantern!!
