(More customer reviews)I have a 1950's version of this design constructed of chains instead of straps and a slightly better grade of steal, but now that I think about it, everything was constructed tougher back then. This is a perfect stool for backpacking or to keep in the back of your vehicle. Do NOT plan on sitting on this for long periods of time, although it is fairly comfortable for what it is. It is a small stool that is fairly close to the ground and I definitely wouldn't advise sitting on it if you're over 200 pounds. It might wind up breaking and become lodged somewhere uncomfortable... if you know what I mean. ; ) Bonus: The stool even comes with it's own streamlined carrying bag. Kind of cool.
